Dietetic Internship Program Mission & Goals​
The goals of the WWDI help interns to meet our program mission.
Wellness Workdays Dietetic Internship Mission:
To provide the tools, resources and environment to graduate competent, ethical and professional entry-level dietitians who are advocates for wellness, health promotion and disease prevention.
Program Goal #1:
Graduates will be highly competent, entry-level dietetic professionals with special expertise in wellness, health promotion and disease prevention.

At least 80% of program interns will complete program requirements within 12 months for non-degree track and 36 months for degree track (150% of program length).

At least 85% of program graduates take the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists within 12 months of program completion.

The program's one-year pass rate (graduates who pass the registration exam within one year of first attempt) on the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists is at least 80%.

85% of DI graduates will rate themselves as satisfied or very satisfied with their training and preparation for their career.

Of graduates who seek employment, 70% or more are employed in nutrition and dietetics or related fields within 12 months of graduation.

Within the first three years of DI graduate employment, 50% of responding employers will evaluate our DI graduates as very good or excellent for overall job performance.

Program Goal #2:
Graduates will demonstrate leadership in their chosen field and advocate for their profession as they grow as health care professionals.

Over a five year period, at least 50% of graduates will be a member of their local dietetic association and / or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Over a five year period, at least 10% of graduates will play a leadership role in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or a health related organization (work or volunteer).
